Massively Parallel Advantage
Modules connected in series as in conventional systems suffer from significant disproportionate losses from real world non-ideal conditions such as manufacturing tolerances, soiling, or partial shading. PARALEX systems allow each module to perform at its own maximum potential, mitigating the impact of these non-ideal conditions and increasing the performance ratio of the system. The massively parallel connection results in 5-15% increased energy yield per kW installed.
Thin Film Performance
Thin film modules have a lower temperature coefficient and improved sensitivity to diffuse and indirect light compared to conventional crystalline modules. As a result, thin film modules consistently produce more energy per installed kW, increasing the average performance ratio of systems.
